Quiz: What’s Your Theological Worldview?
![]() |
You scored as Emergent/Postmodern. You are Emergent/Postmodern in your theology. You feel alienated from older forms of church, you don’t think they connect to modern culture very well. No one knows the whole truth about God, and we have much to learn from each other, and so learning takes place in dialogue. Evangelism should take place in relationships rather than through crusades and altar-calls. People are interested in spirituality and want to ask questions, so the church should help them to do this.

What's your theological worldview?

This doesn’t really surprise me, though had I taken the quiz five or six years ago the results would have been quite different. I’d have come up much stronger as a Fundamentalist and weaker as a Neo orthodox/Roman Catholic. I have certainly changed, and for the better I think. I’m not saying that one worldview is inherently better than others; rather that I am more comfortable in my own skin now than I was back then.

thanks for the quiz .. will try it out
Thanks for the link. This one was very detailed, more questions than the “Christian Traditions Selector.” I have to admit that one questions that I didn’t have any idea about, I answered midway between agree and disagree, and I answered in full agreement to the “total depravity” question in the assumption that it was referring to my state before Christ.
I can see how a person’s profile could change over time. Mine would probably change if I knew more about Karl Barth or Bishop what’s his name. The test identified me as Evangelical/Holiness/Wesleyan (75%), and I find it strange that I could be so identified with Wesley without knowing much about him…
It’s refreshing that this instrument at least took the time to asses for Postmodern/Emergent.
thx - I’ve heard of Barth & Spong, but have little knowledge of their theology. I think Spong had something to do with the Jesus Seminar, but I could very well be wrong. I also found a few questions that I either didn’t fully get, or that fell into the “N/A - wrong question to be asking” category.
