(One Year Bible Blog post & readings)

So, I had another thought today when reading through our Torah portion: Perhaps the whole priestly system is a consolation by God. Rather than being God’s intended plan for Israel, it was an alternate plan that acquiesced to their desire for a mediator. What do you think?

Whenever I read through the Passion accounts I see images from move version of Jesus Christ Superstar (Amazon link). I know there are some who think it’s “devil’s work,” (When I saw the stage show in high school, a few years before I began following Jesus, there were protesters outside the arena handing out leaflets.) but I have to disagree. It’s an amazing exploration of Jesus, his life, and his death. Well worth seeing… and in my opinion owning.
