Design Update
OK, I while I’m still looking for design help, I had to make some changes due to a known problem viewing the old design in IE. I decided to start with a new theme, so I can learn a bit about it while I adjust it for my other un-launched blog. Don’t look know but I actually adjusted the CSS and the sidebar! I’m not a coder, but I might be able to play one on this blog.. at least temporarily.
Question for you CSS gurus: It looks like the design has code for a left sidebar, which I’d like to enable, but I’m not sure how. Also, I’d like to make the width of the main column flexible, but if I just take the width parameter out of the container div, the design breaks (drop shadows fall out of place, etc.) Can anyone offer help for these specific items? Email me: cory [at] gmail [dot] com.
Thanks
[UPDATE] It looks like IE users are completely unable to submit comments (Looks like a “Submit” button, but doesn’t click), so I’m reverting back to the standard WP template until I get a chance to work out something else….

Cory,
While I completely support and applaud your use of Apple hardware and software (4 weeks till Cupertino), it seems that you need to make a decision. Most people use IE when surfing the net even though we almost all know better. Because of that you need to make sure that your pages are workable within the limits IE sets. This new design looks really nice when using Mozilla, but in IE it looks not so nice and the submit comment button doesn’t work. This being your personal blog, you can make the decision to give in to Micro$oft or not, but please think carefully on your other blogs (Please see my blog if you think I give in easy to things I don’t believe in, or talk to people in my fantasy football league, or better yet, GET TO KNOW ME! (I miss that skit)). Anyway, just thought I’d share.
OK, I’m checking it out in IE now, and aside from the fact the fact that the main column is sitting too low, I don’t see any major problems. I’m about to find out if comment submission works…
OK - looks like the “Submit Comment” button is broke. I’ll have to find out what I did.
[By the way, I'm back in Firefox, now.]
