Good thing Samantha hasn’t started learning astronomy yet. Now all I have to do is remember the new classification when it comes time.

I don’t want to sound like a nerd (but I will, I’m sure), I’m just a budding, amateur astronomer….but the IAU is making a rod for its own back, because it then has to really define what a pluton is. When infact, anything like Pluto (now) can easily be defined as a KBO/a Kuiper Belt Object – a vast number, of which have already been ‘discovered’, and the word already exists in astronomical terminology.
