This isn’t a comment on my shallow, materialistic nature… I hope. Rather, it’s just a moment of thankfulness for all that I have:

• clean water
• indoor plumbing
• a warm house
• a selection of clean clothes
• access to basic – nay advanced! – healthcare
• computers and the Internet
• a full fridge
• two cars in a garage

The list could obviously go on, and I am thankful for all of it.
