This is going to be the year of DIY, I think. We’ve got plans to get the deck we talked about all last year in finally. And we’re going to turn Kerri’s kitchen into a room worthy of her cooking. Starting now.
About 1/3 of the original hardwood revealed. Why on earth would anyone cover it?
I wonder if people used to cover up hardwood floors because they thought it would make it easier to take care of? Hardwood floors seem to take just a little more maintenance.

I don’t know about that. I think it’s a matter of hardwood doesn’t hide the spills and dirt like carpet does.
And for the beauty, I’ll gladly take a little maintenance.
