Finally Caught Up With Bloglines

After the troubles that plagued my August… After exporting - deleting - and importing all of my subscriptions… TWICE! After all of that, I have finally caught up and am looking at a clean slate.

Too bad Jason can’t say the same.

Bloglines Is on the Case

The current stupidness has been officially acknowledged:

We are aware that some users have been seeing inaccurate counts on their subscription lists. This is related to the maintanance we performed Wednesday, August 3rd which included upgrades to our databases. Unfortunately, due to the massive amount of data we store, many of the systems are taking a few days to catch up with work. There is no loss of data or functionality, but the sheer size of the synchronization is causing the inaccuracies in count to occur. We are working to speed up the synchronization and remove this bottleneck from the system in the future. In the meantime, we apologize for this inconvenience and disruption to your Bloglines reading rituals.

Bloglines IS Acting Dumb!

Bloglines Is Bloke...
So it’s not just my imagination. Something is rotten in Denmark.

Update: It worked the next time I tried it. And the first feed with unread items was none other that the Bloglines blog itself. So I click it… and get nothing! Hmm… where did I put that copy of NetNewsWire?

Update 2: Let’s see if Bloglines picks this up: Bloglines, Freedbacking

Is Bloglines Acting Dumb?

I filter my feed list to only show updated feeds. Problem is I’ve got several feeds that I know are updated not showing up in the feed list. If I show all feeds and then click the feed title, the new items are there.

Kerri’s having the same deal. What about you? Is there a gap in my mojo, or is this more widespread?
