OK, I’ve been mucking about while on vacation, and this is what I’ve got so far. Bearing in mind I’ve only viewed the thing in Firefox for Mac, the content and structure are pretty much there. Lots of styling and details needed.

Whadya think? I’ll take any feedback you want to offer.

Here are a couple more specific questions for those of you with skills in this area:

1. Look at my date boxes? Right now the border doesn’t go all the way to the bottom. It does go all the way around, but it doesn’t look like it. The extra “margin” built in for letters that drop below the line sticks out beyond my bottom border. Ideas?
2. Right now I’m using “the_excerpt,” but I don’t like how it strips formatting. Suggestions that don’t involve manually adding the “more” tag every time?
3. Finally, assuming my right sidebar displays above the fold, I’d like to “fix” it so it doesn’t scroll, like the header image. Thoughts?
